An opportunity has a risen for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a highly successful business based in Maidstone on a part time contract.

You will be completing all aspects of the accounts function within a fast-paced business working 3 or 4 days a week. (this can be negotiated)

The successful candidate will be available immediately and ideally coming from a background working within construction or manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing supplier and purchase invoices daily
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Credit card checks
  • Allocating payments
  • Assist with sub-contractor queries
  • Weekly/Monthly payment runs
  • Reconciliations of supplier accounts and monthly CIS payments

Person specification:

Experience with CIS (Essential)

  • Knowledge of Sage.
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to solve issues quickly and efficiently.
