Temporary Customer Service Manager - Strong Excel essential

IMMEDIATE START Customer Service Manager role based in Mid Kent! This position is initially until the end of January but has the potential to be ongoing.

Duties Include:

  • Managing a small customer service team of 4 advisors
  • Day to day management duties: managing staff performance, holiday & sickness records, training and development, offering support to the team and dealing with escalated complaints
  • Managing all customer enquiries across a range of subjects including stock, invoicing and billing
  • Leading by example
  • Managing CRM, ensuring the team keep this accurate and up to date
  • Working as a team to ensure enquiries are dealt with efficiently
  • Manage a large number of email and phone enquiries and responding in a professional manner
  • Ensure that a professional telephone manner is adhered to throughout the length of a call
  • Work with different departments to ensure accurate information is being given to all customers
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure query is dealt with in full.
  • Attend meetings with SLT to ensure reoccurring issues are monitored and dealt with effectively
  • Any other duties as required

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Solid line management experience within an office based Customer Service and Administration environment
  • Intermediate/ advanced Excel skills essential
  • Strong administrative skills
  • The ability to keep calm under pressure
  • Experience in a product led environment preferred whether manufacturing or distribution
  • Problem solving skills essential

Please note, the ideal candidate will be immediately available and will be willing to complete a temporary assignment, ideally with flexibility to work long term if needed.
