Production Planner - 6 Month FTC

£20k - £25k DOE

Pearson Whiffin are currently seeking an experienced inventory planner for our manufacturing client based on the outskirts of Maidstone. The role is a 6 month FTC position and during this time you'll play an essential part of the companies supply chain function ensuring the smooth running of the flow of goods from its international suppliers into the company's manufacturing facility in the UK.

Your duties as a Production Planner will include:

• To work with the existing requirement schedule and liaise with departments within the company to maintain efficient stock levels
• Negotiate the best price with suppliers
• Ensure product compliance is kept up to date
• To maintain relationships with existing suppliers
• To process PO numbers and ensure on time delivery
• Ensure accurate data is imputed onto the MRP system
• To process ECN's

To be successful in the position you will have/need:

• Previous experience in a production planning / inventory management position
• Previous experience using ERP Systems i.e. SAP
• Full UK driving license and use of a car
• Advanced Excel skills
• High level of accuracy
• Ability to negotiate with suppliers
• Able to communicate clearly to different departments within the company
• Incredibly well organised
