MULTI-SKILLED ENGINEER

Pearson Whiffin are recruiting for a Multi-skilled Engineer to carry out maintenance work on electrical and mechanical equipment for a business that is critical to supporting the continuation of supply chain within the UK.

Based in the Mid Kent area, this is the ideal opportunity for someone wanting longevity for their career and is perfect for someone looking for an immediate start within a full time position.

Main Duties you will be required to fulfill:

• Carry out maintenance work on all electrical and mechanical equipment on site
• Speak with team leaders regarding scheduling opportunities, and any changes that would need to be made to ensure the best possible use of engineer's time
• Be involved in multi-skilled opportunities
• Cover any other duties, working as a team
• Raising any purchase orders
• Ensuring you have good relationships with all stakeholders, internal and external

For this position you must have/be:

• Experience working as an Electrical or Mechanical Engineer, within a similar environment
• Able to work under pressure and in extremely busy environments
• Experience with programmable logic-controlled equipment
• Excellent fault-finding skills
• An Engineering qualification and equivalent experience
• Awareness of health, safety and first aid policies
• Excellent multitasking skills
