We are currently recruiting for a fantastic client based in the Mid Kent area, who are seeking an experienced Route Planner to join their busy team! You will be working for a leading British company who are looking to help you grow and develop into being the best Route Planner you can be.

Key Responsibilities will involve:

• Routing and planning orders from three separate delivery hubs using a routing system
• Answering customer queries in a professional and experienced manor
• Occasionally booking delivery slots with customers on a personal basis
• liaising with other departments regarding delivery windows
• Forecasting and reporting daily figures with accuracy
• Ad-hoc admin duties when required

The successful candidate will have/be:

• Experience working within a similar planning and routing role
• A good geographical knowledge of the UK
• An understanding of IT skills and be PC literate
• Excellent communication skills
• Be proactive and display initiative working independently, as well as working well with a small team
• Able to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced environment, working to tight deadlines yet still demonstrating an excellent ability to route a high number of orders at an exceptional level
