Fantastic opportunity for an ambitious HR Advisor to join a great employer based in Medway.

The purpose of this role is to provide generalist HR support to management and staff across the business. It boasts a competitive salary and progression opportunities second to none due to the fact that you will gain exposure across all areas of HR in a short space of time

Duties include:

  • Proactive support, coaching and mentoring for managers, providing advice on policies and procedures.
  • Managing performance review and performance management processes.
  • Payroll administration, including offers, contracts, and variations of employment terms.
  • Individual case management, including investigation, up to dismissals and appeals stages.
  • Supporting management with absence procedures and liaising with external partners such as Occupational Health Advisors.
  • Managing the end-to-end recruitment process including writing and editing job descriptions
  • Overseeing inductions and probation periods of all new starters.
  • Supporting the HR Manager in management information reporting, driving business performance, and any other projects identified.

The successful candidate will have/be:

  • Experience within a generalist HR role, ideally in a manufacturing, FMCG or similar.
  • CIPD qualification, ideally to Level 3.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment legislation.
  • Fantastic relationship building and communication skills, at all levels within the business.
  • Some HR experience at HR Administration or Assistant level
  • Organised and practical.
  • Confident coaching and training skills.
  • Proactive and positive.
  • Resilient and reflective.
  • IT skills
