My client, a fantastic business based in North Kent, are looking for an Sales Executive to join them on a full time, permanent basis.

As a Sales Executive you will primarily be responsible for tracking live quotes and opportunities and supporting the external specifications team. This role involves project managing all projects to the highest possible level, ensuring the business has the best possible chance of that project becoming an order.

Duties include:

  • Building and maintaining an accurate list of anticipated future orders.
  • Delivering outstanding service to all customers.
  • New business development.
  • Lead creation and qualification.
  • Managing a diary of outgoing project calls, plus incoming calls and emails from customers.
  • Ensuring conversion of quotes to orders by gathering as much information as possible.
  • Making and maintaining accurate project notes & information on CRM system.
  • Booking quality appointments for the Account Managers to attend.
  • Forecasting and lead time management.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • An understanding of the construction life cycle ideally, but not essential.
  • Excellent project management and co-ordination skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with great attention to detail.
  • The ability to multitask.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and meet demanding deadlines.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
