Network Manager - Hands-On

We are currently looking for a hands-on Network Manager with strong Cisco experience. The role will be supervising the network team on a day-to-day basis and to deliver network solutions, support the infrastructure and develop and maintain the systems.

The role will have a few main responsibilities, they are:

• Technical - devise IT policies, support, maintain and develop the network infrastructure
• Financial - prepare and produce annual budgets, manage expenditure and provide detailed costings for upgrades and projects
• Organisational - managing all team matters such as hiring, training, evaluations and informal disciplinary
• Other - admin work, such as liaising with senior management on projects status, D2D activities and other duties associated with the running and upkeep of the network infrastructure.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Extensive background in supporting, maintaining and developing Cisco based network environments with a formal qualification desirable.
• Strong background in managing a network team
• Project Management experience, leading and delivering projects through to completion
• Happy to work outside normal hours and weekends
• Knowledge of MS Suite, Windows Server etc would be preferred
