A very successful business based in Tonbridge are looking to increase their Accountancy team with an experienced Accounts Assistant.

Working closely with the Finance Manager this will be a varied Accountancy role focusing on all aspects of the Finance function, including Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger and Credit Control. There will also be some Administrative aspects involved such as data input and answering phone calls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable
  • Sales ledger
  • Managing supplier queries and assisting the Finance Manager with cashflow forecasts.
  • Preparation of Balance Sheet Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  • Credit Control
  • Work with the Finance Manager to improve processes and efficiency.
  • Support with administrative tasks.

Person Specification:

  • Strong knowledge and experience using Excel.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Confident to liaise with key stakeholders.

Salary up to £24K DOE.
