Bookkeeper experience essential

A very successful business based in Dartford are looking to bring in an experienced Bookkeeper to manage their accounts and office admin.

This will be a varied Accountancy role focusing on all aspects of the Finance function, including Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger and Credit Control. This role will also cover a number Administrative tasks to keep the office operating smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable
  • Sales ledger
  • Managing supplier queries
  • Preparation of Balance Sheet Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  • Credit Control
  • Keeping Cashflow up to date
  • Checking balances on Xero
  • Making supplier payments
  • Matching payments to suppliers and payments received for sales invoices on Xero
  • Sending Sales Statements
  • Typing letters/emails for Directors and Managers
  • Placing Orders of stationery, printing products etc
  • Support with administrative tasks.

Person Specification:

  • Strong knowledge and experience using Excel.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Construction and CIS experience would be highly beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Confident to liaise with key stakeholders.
  • AAT Qualified (ideally)

Salary up to £28000
