A large Accountancy Firm based in North Kent are looking to recruit a Payroll Supervisor to help with the day to day running of the Payroll Department.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Payroll Assistant/Officer who is ready for their next 'step up' or a Payroll supervisor looking to join a Nationwide firm..

This role requires an individual who has managed a large portfolio of clients within a fast paced Payroll Bureau.

Whilst reporting into the Payroll Manager this role will involve not only looking after your own portfolio of clients, you will also play a large part in the training and developing of the existing payroll team.

Due to the consistent growth of the business and subsequently the payroll department this is a brand new role which offers an excellent opportunity progress your own career.

Key Responsibilities and skills:

  • Responsible for the day to day administration of complex or large sized multiple client payrolls.
  • Support the Payroll Manager with any Payroll related queries.
  • Assist with various types of client setups and project work
  • Proactively carry out payroll reconciliations and analysis
  • Proactively liaise with HMRC and assist with more technical enquiries
  • Reviewing Junior Payroll Executives Work
  • Processing holiday
  • Sick and maternity pay and expenses

Person Specification:

  • Have an extensive knowledge of various specialist areas.
  • Ability to multi task.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Confident in managing a team.
  • Able to confidently develop and train.
