A highly successful business based in Aylesford are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team.

The successful candidate will have worked within a fast paced finance function dealing with all aspects of the Ledger function and also be very tech 'savvy'.

Reporting into the FC you will be working within a finance team that has grown within the last few years. The company always look to promote within and therefore progression is a real opportunity!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Code and check invoices
  • Work out VAT payments
  • Pay out money via BACS or by cheque
  • Check and reconcile supplier statements
  • File invoices and statements
  • Deal with purchase enquiries
  • Process staff expenses

Person Specification:

  • Experience dealing with a high level of invoices.
  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Tech 'savvy' due to the nature of the business.
  • Background within financial services would be ideal.

This is a temp to perm opportunity therefore candidates would be required to be available immediately.
