My client based in Maidstone are looking for an IT Support Manager to join their team to be responsible for the company's IT & Communications Systems, supporting circa. 25 staff.

Main Duties

Plan and deliver the Company's IT strategy, to ensure business IT needs are met.

Work with Senior Management to ensure business strategy is supported.

Monitor performance of in house IT systems and make recommendations for improvements.

Plan the annual IT budget, ensuring this is adhered to.

Manage the maintenance, upgrades and support of our IT systems to include servers, PCs, laptops, phones and operating systems.

Support the day to day running of the IT infrastructure, Communications and Cyber Security Systems.

Provide support and solutions for staff with any IT issues that arise.

Oversee the planned switch of internal systems to mirror that of our European counterparts (currently using Sage 200, moving to Infor within the next 12 months).

Support projects across the business as and when they arise, ensuring internal deadlines are met.

Experience required

Minimum of 2 years' experience managing IT support and strategy planning.

Minimum of 2 years' experience supporting ERP systems.

Sound knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Office 365.

Proficient in IT project management.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Project management skills, including effective time management and personal organisation skills.

Effective problem solver, with the ability to work under pressure.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Self motivated with a positive 'can do' attitude.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £40,000.00 per year
