Science Teacher Job - January 2020 This teacher of Science job starting in in January 2020 is for a teacher who can demonstrate consistent science teaching at good or outstanding levels. This Science teaching job will be filled on a temporary and full time basis. This school is well known both for its high standards in the classroom and for being a very good employer.

Based in a secondary school in Maidstone with easy links by road and public transport from Ashford, Swale and Medway this job should be accessible to a high number of candidates from across Kent. Ample parking is available on site and many of the staff use the regular bus and train routes to get to school.

The successful Science teacher will be required to teach KS3 and KS4 Science. The Science department at this school is very experienced and so the school will consider an NQT or a more experienced teacher. They would also consider a candidate interested in changing subject and able to demonstrate a good teaching ability in another subject.

The school, as a whole, has an established behaviour and reward policy which serves teachers, students and school leaders well. Although rare, when required school leaders act quickly and decisively to manage instances of challenging behaviour. Teachers at this school are fully supported in every way.
