Science Teacher Job - December 2020 / January 2021 Are you looking for a new teaching challenge with the chance of progression and a TLR?

I am looking for a qualified teacher of Science for a job starting December 2020 or January 2021. This Science teaching job will be filled either on a temporary basis or permanent contract.

This teaching job is based in a secondary school in Ashford with easy links by road and public transport from Maidstone, Folkestone and Canterbury. Ample parking is available on site and many of the staff use the regular bus and train routes to get to school.

The successful Science teacher will be required to teach KS3 and KS4 Science. The Science department at this school is currently 5 teachers and a technician so there is support on hand with resources and equipment if necessary. In the initial period of this role you will not have to plan and prepare any lessons as materials are already designed. You will be encouraged to use a practical 'hands-on' teaching style utilising the schools resources and fantastic laboratories. The behaviour code at the school is clear and when used correctly serves teachers and leaders well. Under the scheme behaviour has significantly improved and results have followed suit.
