Assistant Sales Store Manager - Crawley, Sussex

£19,000 (OTE up to £29,000)

Full time - Working 5 days out of 7 days on a 4 weekly rota (37.5 hours per week)

Our well reputed client in Crawley is looking for an Assistant Sales Store Manager to join their enthusiastic and outgoing team! As an Assistant Manager you will be warm, approachable and willing to get stuck in and involved, always setting a great example to the team!

This is a truly great opportunity for a driven individual to get stuck into a customer facing role, you will be on hand to offer support, encouragement and motivation to your team members as you go!

You would have come from a customer facing retail background with a proven track record of achieving sales targets!

The successful candidate will be extremely driven, engaging and proactive!

Main duties & responsibilities include:

  • Providing general support to the store manager
  • Providing exceptional customer service whilst maximising the stores sales both over the phone and face to face
  • Building long lasting relationships with all customers ensuring queries, questions and concerns are all answered within a timely manner
  • Providing overall support to all team members
  • Keeping the shop floor tidy and presentable at all times
  • Highlighting opportunities to maximise profits
  • Spotting opportunities to upsell
  • Following up enquiries over the phone providing solutions that match the customers specific needs

You will have/be:

  • Solid experience in a senior sales role (Demonstrable people management skills)
  • A strong leader with a genuine passion for sales and customer service
  • Charismatic and personable
  • Intelligent, well educated and credible
  • Hard working and tenacious
  • Customer focused
  • Flexible and positive
  • Loyal and reliable, demonstrated through longevity in a role
  • Professional and well presented
