Despatch Operative

Mid Kent

Full Time

£11.50 per hour

A great opportunity has risen with our client based in Mid Kent who are currently seeking an experienced Despatch Operative to join their team.

This is a temporary position with a successful company with the opportunity to go permanent for the right person.

Duties to include:

• Preparing goods for collection
• Picking and checking orders
• Receiving products and storing correctly
• Stock check and rotation
• Monitoring and tracking of packaging
• Preparing documentation and despatch reports
• Loading vehicles
• Maintaining safe and tidy work environment
• Driving industrial vehicles (e.g. forklift)

The successful candidate will be:

• Physically fit
• Experienced working in a chilled warehouse environment
• Experienced using a PPT electric pallet truck
• Proactive, able to work on own initiative
• An excellent communicator
