£120-£200 per day

I am supporting a school based on the outskirts of Ashford to recruit a temporary teacher of English. This post will run May - July, with the possibility of being extended into the next school year. You will be teaching KS3 & KS4.

Resources and facilities at this school are very good and a wealth of support will be provided by senior leadership and by colleagues in the department. If you have a passion for teaching English to Secondary age children and hold a DBS registered on the Update Service, this could be a great role for you. NQT's will be considered.

In order to be considered for this English Teacher role you must have:

  • A good understanding of the English curriculum
  • A Knowledge of basic intervention techniques
  • Ability to inspire students in the classroom
  • Ability to teach mixed ability classes
  • Innovative teaching style
  • Willingness to embrace new teaching technologies
