Group Risk and Healthcare Consultant

Our client, a Financial Services company, was established over 30 years ago and are going from strength to strength. They are actively seeking an ambitious Group Risk and Healthcare Consultant

to join them on a full time Permanent basis.

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have experience and a high degree of technical knowledge on Group Life Assurance, Group Income Protection, Group Critical Illness and Group Private Medical Insurance.

Your main duties would include;

• Researching and carrying out market review exercises on a portfolio of clients, drafting market review reports accordingly
• Working closely with a team of employee benefits administrators, actively proving guidance and support on group risk and healthcare arrangements
• Ensuring the retention and identifying potential opportunities to develop the group risk and healthcare portfolio
• Actively communicating with existing and prospect clientele and providers via telephone and email; implementing recommendations in a friendly and professional manner
• Maintain company database of employee information, adhering to GDPR guidelines

The ideal candidate will have/be;

• Previous demonstrable experience working within a similar Group Risk role
• Technical knowledge on Group Life Assurance, Group Income Protection, Group Critical Illness and Group Private Medical Insurance
• Advanced with Microsoft Office, Excel and data spreadsheets
• The ability to prioritise a demanding workload and work well under pressure
• Be flexible and able to adapt to new situations
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• High levels of attention to detail
• An understanding of compliance within a Financial Services environment
