HR Business Partner

£40,000 per annum Pro rata.

6 Month Full time Contract - Monday to Friday - Start ASAP

An exciting new position has become available for a HR Business Partner for the public sector to join a successful client based in Mid Kent. The company offer a Hybrid working model. however are totally flexible on how many days you can work from home. The company are going trhough a period of change in the HR team and need to welcome a new professional to the team to develop and build trust with their Managers and stakeholders.

This role would suit a hands-on HR Professional who will be responsible for delivering HR services to the business and who is able to develop good strong rworking elationships with the Hiring Managers of this lovely company.

Duties:

  • Review and propose improvements to existing HR policies and procedures
  • Provide advice and support to Management team for all HR matters including absence, conduct and capability, grievance and disciplinary and a broad range of employee relations activities
  • Support, coach and build the capability of the Management team, providing feedback and constructively challenging inappropriate behaviours and actions
  • Promote Development and Training to support a high performing team model
  • Providing support to the HR Assistant when required in relation to Payroll and any other HR matters
  • To support recruitment processes, monitor probation periods and conduct exit interviews
  • when necessary
  • Build a strong business relationship with managers of all levels across the organisation
  • Challenges the organisational structure of the internal client and propose changes

Requirements:

  • CIPD Preferable, however would consider qualified by experience
  • Previous HR Generalist experience
  • Experience with managing a HR Function
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent IT skills (Microsoft, HRIS)
  • Have a proactive, problem-solving mind-set
