Internal Sales - Construction industry

Up to £30k DOE + bens

Hours for this role are 7.30am - 5pm Monday to Friday

Fantastic opportunity for a motivated and ambitious sales person to join my client, a successful, growing business based in Hoddesdon.

You will be responsible for supporting the field sales team, processing orders, taking incoming calls and turning those into orders whilst dealing with customers on a busy trade counter.

This role will involve:

• Dealing with customers face to face and over the phone
• Over time progressing into more of an account management, telephone based role
• Maximising revenue through effective relationship building
• Order processing all orders that come through, via incoming calls, email or online enquiry
• Answering and taking orders over the phone
• General administration

To be considered you must have/be:

• Some exposure to sales within the construction or related industries
• Strong interpersonal skills
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Flexibility with hours
• You will be computer literate with good knowledge on all Microsoft programmes
• An excellent telephone manner with strong customer service skills
• A good personality, willing to learn, ambition to progress within the business
