IT Trainer & Project Support - Central London - Up to £50,000 plus benefits - ASAP Start

I currently have an amazing opportunity for an IT Trainer with Project Support experience to join a great company who look after their staff very well, offer progression, on-going training and a very modern working environment.

As an IT Trainer you will be introducing new users to all of the IT tools available to them. This will include hardware, software and applications.

On the project side you will be the liaison and voice between the IT Team and the staff to determine user requirements, workflow improvements and processes and developing the use of new technology across the business.

Day to day

  • New user inductions which will involve you taking all new staff through a full IT induction
  • Develop training methods to improve training efficiency
  • Develop existing staff skills across third party applications, this will involve approaches including:
    • Creation and presentation of online training documentation
    • 1:1 desk-side sessions
    • Group classroom sessions
    • Drop-in clinics
    • Multi-session courses
    • Floor Walks
  • Assisting with project and change management
  • Translating business requirements into specifications
  • Working with staff to determine how they work and to develop process maps and workflows
  • Support with projects in areas such as user acceptance testing and product design/deployment.
  • Establishing the training solutions for staff on new products and upgrades.

Skills Required

  • Proven background as an IT Trainer, providing 1:1 training for juniors up to Director level
  • Knowledge of training and understanding of the 3 learning styles, etc;
  • A high attention to detail to produce work/documentation which is consistently of a high standard;
  • Enthusiastic personality with a service orientated approach.
  • Experience of business process modelling, use cases and case modelling;
  • Microsoft Office Specialist Certification
  • Ability to provide training with the following
    • Microsoft Office 2010 (necessary)
    • Microsoft Windows 10 (necessary)
    • iManage Work / Filesite / iManageshare
    • Tikit Partner for Windows
    • Remote Access Technologies (VPN, Remote Desktop)
    • Digital Dictation (BigHand), Legal Forms (Oyez),
