Machine Operator

Mid Kent

£20,500 + night shift allowance where applicable

Days and Nights (4 on 4 off)

My client, a successful and established organisation are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Machine Operator to join their thriving team on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will be hardworking and fully computer literate, with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritise a busy workload! You will be flexible and must be able to work the shift pattern detailed above!

Duties include:

• To carry out pre-checks and cleaning tasks of the production line before production start-up
• Set the machine to production recipes
• Preparing raw materials for production
• Replenishing packaging to the production line during the shift including the stacking of trays
• Set up batches of production as per the production plan
• QA quality checks and CCP's
• Manual handling including the stacking of finished goods
• Resolve machines stoppages
• Maintain health and safety and adhere to health and safety policies and procedures at all times
• Help & assist in the training of others and identify own training needs
• Any other reasonable duties, responsibility or requests that may be issued by Management from time to time

The right candidate will have/be:

• A strong team player
• Experience working within the food industry preferable
• Experience of plant and machine operations
• Computer literate; MS Office
• Helpful, reliable, and confident
• Quick and methodical
• Health and safety awareness
• Flexible and proactive
