An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Marketing and Events Coordinator to work across two companies with seperate identities but very close working connections and a similar client base.

The ideal candidate will have proven Marketing and Events experience, be super organised and have the confidence to hit the ground running!

Duties include:

  • Writing, uploading and developing website and social media posts, as well as printed marketing material, company magazine, and exhibition/event materials.
  • Liaising with consultants across the different departments to develop content on current business, case studies and other news.
  • Ensuring continuity of image, tone and formatting throughout all platforms, both digital and print.
  • Developing marketing ideas and suggested improvements based on analytics and sharing as appropriate with Directors and external marketing consultant.
  • Maintaining contact lists, sponsorship lists, mail lists and budgets.
  • Working with Directors to identify suitable awards to apply for across the company and actioning.
  • Co-ordinating attendance at exhibitions and events, arranging event stands and attending as required.
  • Co-ordinating internal and external company seminars/ CPD events, and staff socials.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in Event Management & Marketing
  • Experience writing content and maintaining tone throughout different platforms.
  • Solid IT skills, including Microsoft Office, and a willingness to learn new business systems.
  • Good knowledge of social media and how to maximise its use.
  • Full driving licence and own transport.
  • A dynamic, personable attitude with the ability to build relationships quickly.
  • A flexible, hands-on approach.
