A rare and exclusive opportunity has arisen for a mechanically minded Warehouse Operative looking for a varied long-term opportunity within a sought-after employer.

This role is integral to the customer experience, and therefore requires someone who genuinely takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service and can maintain high standards. Working across two main areas, you will be splitting your time; 60% of the role being customer facing, delivering products to a range of different organisations in a timely fashion, and 40% being internally supporting the assembly process within the warehouse, accurately picking and packing as well as loading and unloading vehicles.

Duties are varied, but include:

• Delivering exceptional customer service at all times, to all stake holders
• Working in a busy factory environment: quality checking; assembly; picking and packing
• Using machinery
• Ensuring a top-level attention to detail when products are prepared for dispatched and packing in such a way to ensure safe transit to customer sites
• Recording delivery activity; warehouse and stock administration; document management; using the company MRP system
• Driving company vehicles safely and efficiently
• Using your initiative to ensure that there is little room for error and customer's receive goods as expected
• Interacting with the customer effectively when delivering goods
• Acting as an ambassador for the business always, actively demonstrating the core company values through everything you do

The successful candidate will have/be:

• A fantastic attitude to work and the desire to maintain high standards personally and professionally
• A positive personality with a 'can do' attitude
• A genuine passion for customer service, with the communication skills that allows you to deliver it
• The ability to use your own initiative with a good level of common sense
• A full, clean driving licence
• Flexibility to start work earlier where necessary
• A background in a factory environment, with some relevant mechanical experience
• Technically minded and practical in approach
• A solid working history demonstrating reliability and employability
• Accountable for everything they do
• A meticulous attention to detail
• Ready to support your colleagues wherever necessary with a collaborative outlook
