An exciting opportunity has become available for an aspiring Purchase Ledger Clerk looking for a new rewarding challenge!

My client, a hugely successful FMCG company in Mid-Kent are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their expanding team!

This is a new role that has been created due to the sheer volume of work the firm has! Job roles include but not limited to:

  • Processing high volumes of purchase invoices and matching with PO numbers
  • Maintaining the ERP system with supplier information
  • Posting journals
  • Bank reconciliation, & resolving discrepancies
  • Processing employee expenses and petty cash
  • Preparing payment journals, maintaining historical records
  • Assist in some VAT preparation, analysis and month end reporting

The ideal candidate will be highly experienced with Excel and have a strong, confident understanding of the processing Debits and Credits, Vlookups and Pivot tables. Due to the location of the office, a driving licence and own transport is essential.
