Temporary Receptionist/ Administrator with Medical Experience

Pearson Whiffin are currently recruiting a temporary Receptionist/ Administrator with previous private surgery/ hospital experience to start work ASAP in the Mid Kent Area.

Duties

  • Answering phones and booking appointments for patients
  • Providing administration service to GP's and medical specialists
  • Ensure patients are treated respectfully
  • Manage confidential files on bespoke medical system
  • Ensure day to day coordination of patient appointments
  • Respond efficiently to all written and verbal enquires from patients and relatives, escalating if needed.

What you will need

  • You will need to be available to start immediately
  • Previous receptionist experience is essential
  • Previous medical experience is desirable
  • Educated to GCSE Standard (5 GCSES)
  • Ability to work under high amounts of pressure
  • Able to work proactively
  • Ability to work with a number of senior members of staff and be able to prioritise workload
