Recruitment Resourcer, Pearson Whiffin Recruitment Construction Division (Trades & Labour) £20,000 - £25,000 per annum Full time: 7.30am - 4.00pm / 8.00am - 4.30pm / 8.30am - 5.00pm / 9.00am - 5.30pm / 9.30am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday

Due to expansion at PW Construction Recruitment, we are looking to employ an experienced Recruitment Resourcer.

You will be responsible for candidate generation for the Trades & Labour Division, supporting 2 Consultants.

The job will involve:

  • Writing job adverts and posting to Broadbean, a job distribution site
  • Advertising jobs on all social media channels, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram
  • Monitoring advert responses; contacting all suitable candidates to discuss their current work situation and emailing back all candidates that are not suitable for the role they've applied for
  • Once you have spoken to the suitable candidates and identified them as a person we can employ, you will need to register them by completing a registration form over the phone, taking their identification, proof of NI and a copy of all of their construction tickets (CSCS, NPORS, CPCS, SSSTS, SMSTS for example)
  • Once all registration documents are received, you will need to upload these to the CRM (the candidate and client database)
  • If you have identified a candidate as a successful match to a live job, you will need to pass their details to the Consultant running that job, for them to further qualify and book in
  • You will also be responsible for running regular searches on all of the job boards (CV Library, Jobsite, Reed, JobsinKent and Indeed) and the Database to find candidates who are actively looking for new assignments
  • Once the candidates are out working, you will keep in regular touch with them to check that all is well on site
  • When talking to candidates, you will be trained how to source leads and you will be required to pass these leads onto the Consultants to follow up, for the purpose of business development
  • For your development you will accompany Consultants to occasional site meetings. You will benefit from seeing the site and meeting the Site Management as you will gain a better understanding of the type of staff they do and do not want to employ

The successful candidate will have/be:

  • At least 12-18 months experience working as a Rescourcer within a Construction Recruitment Agency
  • Comfortable speaking on the phone with a clear and concise telephone manner
  • Confident speaking to construction site workers
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Customer focused
  • Someone who takes pride in their job
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Ambitious

There is opportunity for career progression at PW Construction Recruitment. Typically a Resourcer would move into a Trainee Recruitment Consultant position to progress through the ranks or you could become a Billing Resourcer or a Candidate Manager with one or two Resourcers working under you.
