Regional Sales Manager - North West

£50-60k DOE + generous benefits + company car


A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Regional Sales Manager with a background in agriculture machinery or similar, to join a global, market leading manufacturing company.

Known for high quality products and top service levels, this company look for employees who share their high standards.

You will be proactively managing a large patch in the North West of the UK, looking after existing clients as well as developing relationships with potential new customers.

This role will involve:

  • Developing solid working relationships with all existing customers, both over the phone and in person and account managing with a view to increasing spend
  • Lead generation
  • Winning new business
  • Working to targets
  • Independently developing your chosen area, working strategically to ensure all potential customers are targeted
  • Giving presentations both one to one and group
  • Responsibility for the entire sales cycle

The candidate will have/be:

  • Demonstrable experience of working in a regional sales role selling similar products
  • A high level of understanding of the UK market and B2B sales
  • Contacts within local authorities across this patch and a track record of selling into this area
  • A confident communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to analyse issues and identify practical solutions and translate these into well-substantiated proposals
  • Self-motivated and goal orientated
  • Team player with the ability to self-motivate, multi- task and work independently
  • A full clean driving licence
  • Able and happy to travel across the assigned territory; this may include overnight stays
