Sales Administrator

My client, a well-established business based in the Mid Kent area, is looking for someone positive and reliable to join them on a full time, permanent basis and support a busy Operations team.

This is a varied role with a broad range of duties, all of which will contribute to the overall success of the Sales and Operations teams.

Duties for this role include:

• Assist with the management of projects, which includes all aspects of customer requirements from initial quoting, ordering, deliveries, handling returns and project closing
• Maintain data quality of delivery dates and return dates in co-ordination with sales and the customer
• Be the contact person for customer queries
• Support the sales team with customer quotes, order confirmations and any other project related requirements
• Checking on-hand and reconditioning stocks and co-ordination with Logistics to source intercompany for on-time delivery to customers
• Ensure client satisfaction by coordinating deliveries and returns in collaboration with the yard
• Arranging transportation and co-ordination with haulage companies, checking transport invoices and transport recovery
• Administrative duties to support the successful functioning of branch including answering the phones and welcoming visitors etc
• Maintaining accurate and up to date filing system

The successful candidate will be/have:

• Previous experience in a Commercial, Supply Chain and Sales environment
• Experience in project management preferably in Construction/Manufacturing industry.
• Hands-on experience with different Systems e.g SAP
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software i.e. Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong analytical skills and effective problem-solving skills
• Team player
• Proactive in communications
• Solution focused
