Job Title: Setting Out Engineer

Start Date: Immediate 31.05.22

Pay: £330- £350 per day

Location: Leatherhead, Surrey

My client is a Groundworks contractor in the residential sector. They are looking to recruit an experienced Site Engineer. You will manage the engineering, including the setting out of the drainage, kerbs and roads on a residential housing site. The job:

• Managing QA and complete AS built Surveys
• Site set up and compliance with health and safety
• Completing all setting out associated to the housing project, including drainage/roads
• Raising technical queries on design issues

The candidate will have / be:

• A CSCS card (essential) and SMSTS / SSSTS (preferred)
• Extensive experience working within residential groundworks
• The ability to explain design ideas and plans clearly and concisely
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• The ability to work within budgets and to tight deadlines
• The ability to work as part of a team
