Solutions Architect - PHP/Python/AWS/Serverless - Remote/Home Based - Up to £80,000 plus excellent benefits - ASAP Start.

My client has a very exciting opportunity for a Solutions Architect who will be active member of the Product Strategy team, responsible for defining and executing the company's technological strategy and vision in line with the core principles of innovation, quality and efficiency.

You will be working with Agile product teams, development providers and service providers in a consultative approach, as a Solutions Architect you will provide hands on technical leadership and mentoring and be involved in wider cross-teams, departmental level strategy implementation and own technology sponsored initiatives.

This role will be permanently working from home with occasional visits to the Kent office.

Skills Required

• Strong previous experience of software delivery using an Agile methodology

• Knowledge and experience of SOA approaches and web service technologies
• Thorough understanding of software engineering principles such as OOP, SOLID etc
• Experience working with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, VueJS etc.
• Awareness of security requirements and software design implications for web-based applications
• Analytical, logical, and methodical approach to problem and issue solving

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong technical knowledge with the following;
• PHP
• Python
• HTML5/CSS
• XML
• Serverless
• Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• EC2, RDS, S3, Cloudformation, API Gateway
• DynamoDB
• Lambda
