Job Title: Special Orders Co-ordinator

Salary: £24 - 26,000 DOE

Location: Aylesford

Brand new role for a dynamic and self-motivated Special Orders Co-ordinator to join this growing, established firm managing and developing the processes for custom order requests. This role has been created in response to market demand for products by this well-respected family firm and offers lots of opportunity for the right individual to embrace their creativity and make a real mark on the business.

Duties include:

• Taking ownership for the management of all special order requests.
• Working within the Supply Chain team, and closely collaborating with the Sales and Design teams.
• Building internal pathways for managing special order requests, including devising pricing structures.
• Improving response times for customers and setting SLA expectations.
• Working with Design Engineers to promote design efficiencies across materials, process, and labour.
• Interpreting designs and technical drawings.

The successful candidate will have/be:

• A manufacturing background, with some carpentry/ cabinetry experience and a working knowledge of machinery/ machine settings.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and designs.
• Excellent IT skills, particularly including Excel and the use of MRP systems.
• Proactive and practical.
• Solid commercial acumen.
• Assertive and approachable.
• Great focus and attention to detail.
• Good with deadlines and time management.
