Are you a teacher of French or Spanish (MFL) and looking for a role in the Medway area?

We are supporting two secondary schools in the Medway area to recruit teachers of French and Spanish (MFL). These roles will be offered as permanent contracts on a full-time basis starting in September (a July start date may also be considered). Candidates who can teach both subjects to GCSE would be highly sought after but candidates looking to develop their skills in either subject can be considered.

In this job you will get the opportunity to teach a mixed timetable of KS3 and KS4 French and KS3 and KS4 Spanish. You will teach in a good department with experienced teachers. You will support students who are enthusiastic and engaging by delivering exciting and interactive lessons designed with careful planning and preparation. At KS3, in Y7, you will teach 'taster' lessons to encourage students to pursue the subject at GCSE. To be successful in this role you will need:

• The ability to teach either French at KS3 and KS4 (GCSE) or Spanish at KS3 and KS4 (GCSE)
• A Willingness to engage and embrace enthusiastic students
• The ability to stretch and challenge academic students
• The experience to manage challenging behaviour
• The knowledge of current and innovative teaching methodologies
