Team Secretary

Medway, Kent

Monday to Friday

£25k-£28k DOE

Our client is now seeking an experienced Secretary to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role will be based in their Medway office, which does require applicants to have their own transport.

The ideal candidate solid administrative experience, ideally with some exposure to the construction industry!

Your duties:

  • Answering incoming telephone calls and directing to the appropriate person
  • Managing email enquiries
  • Ensuring office stationery levels are maintained
  • Keeping the office kitchen stocked (tea, coffee, milk etc)
  • Manage CEO's diary and travel arrangements
  • Administrative support to Finance team; cross checking agency timesheets against invoices
  • Letter typing / responses
  • Filing
  • Keeping the office tidy and organised

The right candidate will have/be:

  • Previous administrative/secretarial experience is required
  • Construction knowledge is ideal
  • Competent in diary management and booking travel
  • Strong organisation skills
  • Helpful, reliable, and confident
  • The ability to multitask
  • Strong using all MS Office applications
  • A meticulous attention to detail
  • Intermediate or above skills using Excel
  • A good telephone manner
